Tree Climber

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced climber or someone who is interested in climbing trees with the ability to learn tree
climbing techniques and other skills in arboriculture. Duties include operation a chipper, aerial lift, chainsaw, stump
grinders, tree pruning, cabling, and removals (using various rigging techniques). We also do various other tasks such as
planting trees and timber stand improvement.

Our company prides ourselves on safety and the development and execution of the industry’s best management
practice. Applicants should apply if you like to work outside year-round (we don’t work if conditions are hazardous)
have a good work ethic and enjoy physical labor.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ability to climb trees with a rope and saddle or the ability to learn how to climb trees.
  • Ability to independently problem solve and communicate with crew in a clear and cordial manner.
  • Ability to learn and apply the latest techniques in arboriculture.
  • Ability to be open to suggestions and be a team player to help the company grow together.
  • Bonus but not necessary for consideration: 2 years of climbing experience, an ISA Certification, and a degree in
    the field of Natural Resources, preferably Horticulture or in the field of forestry.

Job Experience:
The qualified candidate will be self-motivated, proficient at multi-tasking, able to work in a fast-paced environment and
possess great organizational and communication skills. MUST be a team player!!

Salary: Pay is based off experience $17-26 per hour
