FAC - Facultative: Equally likely to occur in wetlands or non-wetlands.

FACU - Facultative Upland: Usually occurs in non-wetlands, but occasionally found in wetlands.

UPL - Obligate Upland: Occurs almost always under natural conditions in non-wetlands.
SOIL MOISTURE:

W (Wet) - Saturated Soil

WM (Wet Mesic) - Seasonally Saturated Soil

M (Mesic) - Moderately Moist Soil

DM (Dry Mesic) - Well Drained Soil

D (Dry) - Excessively Drained Soil
