Kevin Brecka — Project Manager
B.S. Biology | B.S. Wildlife Management and Research
Kevin is a wildlife biologist that specializes in private land management including prairie restoration, invasive species eradication, food plot creation and design, prescribed burning, and timber stand improvement projects. He has worked with EC3 since May of 2011, and has knowledge of proper land management from years of experience fine tuning his families' own properties. Kevin really enjoys working with private landowners on their projects and understands the importance of every project to that property owner. His recent and extensive schooling has provided him with a full understanding of native plant communities and specific plant identification.
Kevin attended University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he graduated with a bachelor of science in biology and wildlife management and research. As mentioned before, UWSP provided him with a broad background in habitat management. Accompanying his education, Kevin has gained valuable experience from personal "hands-on" field experience.
Kevin is a certified wildland firefighter, obtaining certification through the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (S-130, S-190, S-290, I-100) and plans to continue adding NWCG certifications. He is also a certified pesticide applicator through The State of Wisconsin DATCP.
Kevin is avid outdoorsmen and enjoys hunting, fishing, and perfecting his food plots. He maintains a membership with Pheasants Forever.
