James Wagner — Land Management Technician
James Wagner is our newest land management technician. James studied Natural Resource Management and Conservation Biology at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in 2013. Through personal projects and field work, James has gained extensive hands-on training implementing both wildlife and land management techniques. These experiences have allowed James to further understand the relationship between plant and wildlife communities. Determined to help landowners reach their management goals, he continues to fine tune his land management skills as a valuable part of the EC3 team.
James obtained his wildland firefighter certification through the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (S-130, S-190) and plans to continue adding NWCG certifications. He is also a certified Pesticide Applicator through the State of Wisconsin DATCP. He maintains memberships with conservation groups including the Quality Deer Management Association, Pheasants Forever, and the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation.
James enjoys every season Wisconsin has to offer. From planting food plots in the summer, to chasing white-tailed deer in the fall, ice fishing in the winter, and hunting turkeys in the spring, he remains active in the great outdoors.
