Alex Weber — Project Manager
Alex Weber is a natural resources biologist and specialists in Land Use and Management Planning.
He has experience in prescribed burning, prairie restoration, invasive species control, wetland restoration and wildlife management planning. Alex has studied all aspects of conservation and resource management both in the field and through the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science with majors in Biology and Natural Resource Land Use Planning.
When not in the field for EC3, Alex spends his time a field for pleasure. He is an avid hunter and wild land steward targeting white-tailed deer, ducks, geese, pheasants, grouse, woodcock, and turkey. He is also an avid fisherman from ice fishing to fly fishing it is no surprise to find him on the water. Alex is also active with support for wildlife entities such as The National Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, Whitetails Unlimited, Wisconsin Wildlife Federation, Wisconsin Conservation Congress and Pheasants Forever.
Alex is currently a Project Manager for EC3's Wildland Restoration division. Alex's efforts are focused on wildlife management planning and invasive species control for private land owners. He also assists in the bidding process for public land projects and GIS map making for anyone in need. He is a certified pesticide applicator through the State of Wisconsin DATCP. As well as an asset on our burn crew with certifications through the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (S-130/S-190, S-290), in which he is continually adding certifications.
